2019 BMW S 1000 RR Latest Updates
BMW has launched the 2019 S 1000 RR at Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom India). Official bookings have already commenced across dealerships in India. Compared to the outgoing model, the new bike is Rs 45,000 more expensive. The 2019 model features an extensive set of updates in terms of design, electronics and underpinnings. The Pro variant is price at Rs 20.95 lakh whereas the variant with the M Package, called the S 1000 RR Pro M Sport costs Rs 22.95 lakh, all prices ex-showroom India.
For 2019 BMW S 1000 RR gets a completely new bodywork. The design is more compact and symmetrical , compared to the bulbous, asymmetrical lines of the current bike. the design as tight as possible, the front turn indicators have been relocated to the mirrors while the tail lamp has been integrated into the rear turn indicators. New features include twin LED headlamps and a new 6.5 inch colour TFT instrument console with multi-controller on the left handlebar.
The new 999cc motor makes 206.6 PS at 13,000rpm, which is 8.1PS more than the outgoing S 1000 RR. The peak torque of 113 Nm remains the same, it now comes 500rpm later at 10,500rpm.
